Kim Delaney has won Emmy Awards for her performance as Detective Diane Russell. She has also starred in shows like All My Children Philly CSI: Miami, Army Wives and CSI: Miami. Delaney was the only daughter of a United Auto Workers executive and his wife who was a household worker. Her childhood was spent within a household with four other brothers. When she was a kid, Delaney dreamed of being an official reporter for the court. She began modelling in highschool and eventually gained commercials when she moved from the south of England to New York. Her first job acting was when she was a young, innocent girl in the show All My Children. Delaney appeared in a number of television shows, films and dramatics since then. Her career as a professional has been more successful than her private life. The talented actress has had to deal with alcoholism in the past as well as two failed marriages. In 2005 her custody was removed from her.
